A lot of men do not visit their doctors. Well, they do visit them, but only until their medical condition has made its turn for the worse.

It’s not “cool” to not go to your healthcare provider for checkups. If anything, it will just make you die a lot sooner than people who actively get their checkups.

Today, I am going to talk about 7 health tips that every man should follow, especially if they want to live longer.

1.Choose a Good Doctor

Part of the reason why some men do not want to go to the doctor is that the physician might not be good for them. You see, doctors are still human and sometimes, they hurt people’s feelings by being so blunt.

So, the best thing that you can do is to find a reputable doctor that you like to share your medical condition with. Find someone who will not judge you if you’ve made bad decisions and someone who is generally concerned with your overall well being.

2.Be Well-Informed

A lot of men just self-diagnose and treat their conditions by taking over-the-counter medicines. Although that can work, some medical conditions that you think can be treated with OTC medications may turn out to be a symptom of a much worse condition.

So, what you want to do is for you to be well-informed about your health and the only way for you to do so is, well, visit your doctor.

3.Change Things Up with Your Workout

Our bodies adapt, especially when it comes across with the same stimulus over and over again. So, if you’re working out, the best way for you to continuously challenge your body is to change your workout routine from time to time.

For example, if you’re lifting weights and you’re lifting a moderately heavy weight, then try changing things up by either using a lighter weight and doing more repetitions or using a much heavier weight and doing 1-5 reps.


4.Eat Well

Most of us think only about the calories, but you should look at it from a nutritional standpoint. Although you may eat a 600-calorie meal, it will still bode well for your overall health if it consists of all the elements from the good food groups.

5.Sleep is of the Essence

Here’s a fun fact: we devote 1/3 of our lives to sleep. So, why are you not getting enough of it? As much as possible, you want to get at least 7 hours of sleep per day to achieve optimal growth and body functioning.

6.Be Primed for Sex

Sex is a good activity that will help you achieve optimal growth. It is also important that you eat healthily and exercise plenty since erectile dysfunction or known as delaying ejaculation can be attributed to the fact that you have a bulging belly.

7.Prostate Care

Your prostate is more important than you think. Aside from regulating your urinating schedules, it is also prone to contracting cancer as well. Get regular screenings to ensure that there is no cancer brewing on the said organ.
